Newton (nicknamed Newt) is the small "Invention-Making" part of INK. He describes himself as the inventor.
Background[]
Pervy Margreth in The New Student mentions "it allows you to make up for the fact that your father is a REAL scientist." He comes to Pinkerton because his father is neglectful of his needs, too focused on "mad scientist" experiments to be taking care of Newton. He inherits his genius from his father however, and strives for perfect in his studies and gadgets to live up to his expectations.
Etymology[]
Mister Newton is what MacBeth calls him in The New Student, indicating that it might actually be his surname rather than his first name.
Role[]
The Gadget Guy who invents devices to help the team. Often they use his devices to stop Sadie Macbeth. If the team needs something to use urgently, Newton will help by developing gadgets with his useful tools.
Personality[]
As the youngest child in Pinkerton, he is a bit of a perfectionist when it comes to studies and aims to get a 100% average. This is due to the pressure he experiences being the son of a mad scientist, who is shown in Saving the Agent Newton. He can sometimes be clumsy like his father, which results in setbacks during their missions. He is incredibly smart for his age, but his immature and childish side surfaces often during his pranks on Macbeth.
Yet, he is still a kid at heart.
Relationships[]
In the episode Lovestruck Stinkbomb Newton grows jealous of other couples at Pinkerton and wishes to be in love with Trixie and share a kiss with her. He changes his mind later on after the kiss. Of all members, Newton is shown spending the most time outside of mission hours with trixie. They are seen studying in the library together frequently.
He is also close with Vin and Zero as they are also members of the network, and go on missions together as a trio.

He has red hair, pale skin, brown eyes, a dark green jumper with a zig-zag across with a green-brown singlet underneath and grey jeans and also square glasses.
